What's the difference between the two fuel cards?
The only difference is how the card is funded. With the BulkLoads Fuel Card, you fund it yourself. With the Smart Freight Fuel Card, Smart Freight Funding covers your fuel costs and deducts them from your factored loads. Both cards offer the same discounts and perks. The BulkLoads Fuel Card has a one time setup fee of $50.
Is there a credit check?
For the BulkLoads Fuel Card, yes — a credit check is required. For the Smart Freight Fuel Card, no credit check is needed. Approval is based on your factoring relationship with Smart Freight Funding.
How long does it take to get started?
Most carriers are approved within 1-3 days for both cards.
What if I already use another fuel card?
